Weeks 7 & 8

Because of fall break, week 8 is only Monday and Tuesday, which is why I'm combining posts for weeks 7 and 8. Definitely not because I forgot to do a post for week 7. Nope.

Anyway, I'm still working on the garage and jump animation. The garage is mostly done as far as the modeling goes, barring any request from the team for more detail or something, but I still have to UV unwrap everything.

I really thought I would be done with the animation by now. I was almost done. But then I realized I needed to stabilize the feet so they don't slide around. I assumed inverse kinematics would do the trick, so I tried and tried to use that. Then I realized that IK wouldn't work because Beam's joints aren't attached. Only then did I remember that Jason (team member who made the model and armature) had already told my that. So I'm back to square one. I'll have to talk with Mr. Compton.
